Amit Singh Joins PNB Housing Finance As Chief People Officer

Amit Singh is the new Chief People Officer (CPO) at PNB Housing Finance. A decorated human resources professional, Singh carries 18 years of experience.

 

Having obtained an MBA from ICFAI Mumbai in 2004, Singh joined Blue Star Infotech as a human resources executive, and later switched to Tata Consultancy Services in the same position in May 2006 and then to IDFC First Bank in November the same year, as a human resources specialist. He worked his way up the ladder to the position of director & business HR head at IDFC. After a successful decade or so with the Bank, he moved to the role of head-human resources at SBI Mutual Funds, in 2017.

 

Now, four years later, he is set to don the mantle of chief people officer at PNB Housing Finance.

 

As a key member of PNB Housing’s leadership team, Singh will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation’s growth and will be responsible for managing manpower strategy for the Company. He will lead the HR function, which includes learning & development, talent acquisition and developing people-centric organisational-development priorities including, talent management and development, coaching, capability building, performance and reward strategy, HR digital strategy and sustaining an inclusive work culture for business growth.

 

Some of the key areas where he brings extensive experience are talent management, rewards, HR digital ecosystem, capability building, talent acquisition, wellness and engagement.

 

Singh will work towards adding “suitable value to the Company’s core operations within this department.”
